Paragliding Flights in Tenerife

Not at all! In paragliding you don’t feel vertigo because you don’t have direct visual contact with the ground: you’re not standing on a ledge or hanging from a building. You’re gliding smoothly through the air, without fixed references, and the feeling is more like sliding gently down a slide.

Absolutely. Safety is one of our main priorities — we’re the first ones interested in getting home safe and sound to our families.

To give you an idea, paragliding safety depends mainly on the pilot’s training, since the rest of the factors — experience, weather conditions and equipment — all hinge on that:

• Experience. With Let’s Fly you can feel completely at ease because all our pilots are certified tandem pilots by the Spanish Federation of Air Sports. They are highly experienced, with a minimum of 10 years of flying, and also compete in solo flights at regional and national level.

• Weather conditions. These must be perfectly interpreted by the pilot. As we’ve said, our pilots are highly qualified, and if conditions aren’t clear at the time of take-off, the flight will simply be postponed to another time at no extra cost to you.

• Equipment. It’s essential not only to have excellent equipment in perfect condition but also to check and renew it frequently. We never cut corners: we use state-of-the-art gear and renew it at least once a year.

We constantly check forecasts and always try to schedule flights in optimal conditions. If that’s not possible, we’ll contact you to arrange another time with better weather.

This rarely happens, but since forecasts can change, there’s always a chance that at take-off the pilot decides it’s better not to fly. In that case, we’ll reschedule your paragliding flight or refund your payment.

Because your safety — and our pilots’ safety — always comes first.

None at all. You’ll only need to take a few steps at take-off before you’re already flying. If you can take a few small steps, you can paraglide!

Definitely not. Age is not a problem for paragliding. At Let’s Fly we’ve flown with passengers from 6 to 87 years old.

Flying is about attitude — stepping out of your comfort zone and exploring new sensations. The only safety requirement is to weigh between 30 and 100 kg.

Take note:

• Comfortable clothes, preferably long trousers (it’s cooler at altitude).

• A jacket (and if you don’t have one, we’ll lend you one).

• Closed sports shoes — essential.
